There seems to be some confusion regarding these models when the printer is calling for a fuser kit replacement. The counter is not reset automatically when the fuser is installed. The printer should still be powered off before removing and replacing the fuser. Remove and install the replacement fuser and turn the printer on. Using the control panel scroll to RESET SUPPLIES then select FUSER KIT and select again to reset counter.
I believe you are not correct. According to HP the fuser for the CP4015, CP4525 have a burnable fuse. Only the CP3525 does not have a fuse since the fuser is supposed to last the lifetime of the product.
